"IT'S A LIE!!" XD
Hi guys, I'd just like to share what happened to me last weekend at the glorious Sherlock Holmes Museum, based on Baker Street itself..just apparently set at the wrong house! XDD
I Sherlock Holmes, ever since I was a kid and even after this. I didn't have a chance to go on the tour sadly.. however..the shop was an awful first time experience, completely ruined it for me. I was RIPPED OFF and RIDICULED by the disappointing, poorly trained staff and manager!! I was secretly mocked while being served by two cashiers for mistaking an item to be worth £18 (since there were no price tags on show I did actually ask a member of the staff for the correct price). One whispered to the other it was actually worth £15 and they both chuckled in front of me, I stupidly passed this off until the my last day in london. So I returned to request a refund, only to find they DO NOT accept refunds or exchanges..I then discussed my situation with the manager next door, she was VERY RUDE, dismissed the whole situation, and made me feel not like a customer, but an employee in trouble, I was made to be ashamed for purchasing the item..I left baker street very upset and incredibly disgusted! Hence why I never went on the tour.. (I read up it was terrible and dingy anyway, a 2-3 hour long wait outside in the rain to see a crappy refurbished excuse of the legend's property..)So be warned people, don't expect much from the cute little shop next door guys..If your willing to throw away a good £10 (or maybe extra depending on the cashier) on tour tickets, available at the back of the shop, go ahead and make their day: cash up and leave immediately! It's all nothing but over priced tack, ran by very childish, unfair, unorganised staff and management, they care not for the theme, the customer's interest or experience..but only the money!! Arthur Conan Doyle would turn in his grave and make Sherlock look into this haha.. Definitely the so called manager, described by other reviewers as "ill-mannered, abnoxious and even rasist" towards her worldwide customers, and most possibly with many applicants, should be REMOVED from the position for the company's sake!!
