Okies, next year I definitely need to reuse outfits~ St.Tail (of course), Sakura (CCS & Tsubasa ver.), Sailor Moon (Prism/Eternal). However, there are 1 or 3 characters I'm hoping to complete for then..>3
~"Kaitou Kid" (Magic Kaitou/Detective Conan) <3<3<3 (He must attend an expo at least >3)
~"Nanami Kiryuu" (Revolutionary Girl Utena) for possible meet at Ayacon 2013! X33
~"Cure Passion" (Fresh Pretty Cure). ^^ (Should be done for Ayacon 2013!)

Oh god, the SKIRT! Aaah that'll be our major rant! I was intrigued by the idea of how you did your skirt progress, it looks so gooood! Yeah, with things like wings it's hard to get the right size. For my own wings, I bought two large foam boards thinking I'd need them, but I ended up only needing one! I also had to make them small enough (and foldable) to fit in my suitcase for easy transportation up to Expo!
I need to update my CI as I've done a bit more progress, I should attach photos as well like with yours!
They look fine with them being covered in fabric, I'm just getting all giddy for when I can put on the feathers boas - and pet them all day long
Oh yay! progress update!
With my ESM skirt, I pinned the tiers one by one and just stitched up the raw edge by hand so they stayed in place - then attached to the bodice. Saved a lot of headache!
Oh don't worry, I do a mixture of machine and hand stitching, so I'm positive some area of my cosplay looks very messy in terms of stitching!
Haha yes, we have lots of construction issues to talk about! But our cosplays will still look awesome as no-one will know our mistakes! Ssssshhhhh!
That's why I used foam board, because using wire and fabric for my NQS cosplay, it got damaged very easily because of inconsiderate con goers.. But I tried not to make them too big, not just because of the suitcase, but it makes it easier for me to maneuver around the dealers hall and people have little risk of damaging them!
Exactly, sounds like a good plan! Your wing progress looks great so far!! I can't wait to see it in real!
Hehe, yeah, I hope the boas don't molt, poor ExCel cleaning staff and feathers flying in peoples faces

The pleats look fantastic though, you did a good job of keeping them together!
Well, I've sent an email through to MCM Expo to organise a Sailor Moon group on Saturday and Sunday at 1:00pm, is that a good time for you? The gathering might last a bit longer than an hour, though so hopefully you can make it!
We shall endure the dealers pit together. And if people don't move out of the way after us telling them politely to do so - they'll get a taste of our double moon whammy! Get thwacked by two sets of wings
Most definitely, I wonder how our photos will look like?
It'd be nice as our photos will be a "comparison between versions". I don't think I've ever seen a picture which showed an anime/manga version along with the Musical versions of that same character, so that'll be interesting
Yeeee!! Of course, I'll definitely be there, so excited! hehe *squeals at the thought of the comparison* >DD It's gonna be so much fun getting our duo photos, I bet we'll get lots! (Hopefully we'll get an epic photo in Neo magazine!) come to think of it I haven't seen anyone else to it neither.
